I can french braid and fishtail my own hair but I want to create a easily maintained CUTE cornrow or micro braid hairstyle for myself. No extensions just my own hair.

Cornrow/micro braids...well in order to look nice, you really should have them professionally done. Even the braiders that I know do not do their own hair, they go to shops and have their hair done by professionals, Good Luck, it should look cute!!

cornrows/micros are neater and last longer when you use extensions but i do both to my own hair all the time.....i use 2 mirrors one in front and one in back so i can see all angles and just braid....as for designs i just go with the flow

If you don't know how to do it ask someone to show you how or have them do it for you it'll be way easier on you.
