I dont know where you get your information from, but I havent heard of that. But if they do, who can blame them...They put up with alot of stuff & go thru so much, just so people like you can sit here & ask questions & do whatever it is that you do and try & blame the military for anything. All they do is Defend Our Country, Our Freedom & Anything else that goes along with being a Military Soldier. They do the Job, that MOST are too coward to do! So THANK A SOLDIER becuz you can sit there & ask that question today!

I tend to disagree. However, some of my compatriots may just be tired of the nagging we get from civilians who do not have a clue about the world except what the news tells them to believe. Also annoying is the misconception that we, as military members, have ANY say-so in government events. We can vote, like any other citizen. After that, we have to shut up and soldier. We also tire of every person looking for a cause blaming every single one of us for the mistakes of the few (Abu Ghraib). I wasn't there, I didn't know anyone involved. I'm sorry for the atrocities, but I can't do a damn thing about what happened, only try to make sure it never happens again. Also, when these same civilians fling rabid insults around, yeah, you're gonna get some insults and threats back. I have to say, though, the the most violent phrases I have seen were written by so-called 'pro-peace' individuals. Their viciousness is unmatched by anything I've seen a military member write.

where have you been ? have you read the answers on this site ? I haven't seen the military do any name calling but if you mention any thing not other than praise for Israel or Jews but even question them , then you will see the violent and name calling answers from every direction, and so many people,

I hate generalizations. The entire military hasn't been calling you names, the whole military is not about violence. Come on.

we do not. Sometimes we respond with big fat smoochy kisses! Didn't you see all the wonderful humanitarian assistance we responded to tsunami affected countries with. Water, food, toys, reconstruction. Oh, and I think we did the same thing in New Orleans. What did you do?

they dont only respond to name calling.... they usually respond to their nickname or their name or the name their leader calls them by. and they respond to violence because.. well lets put it this way... if someone is shooting at you from down the street arent you going to respond to that? by shooting back or taking cover?

I honestly hope you aren't generalizing our military men and women. Most of them are cussed at, yelled at, and put down for doing their job, but they stand up for themselves (and I highly doubt in violent or name calling manner) and now put down again. People love having the right to complain, but don't respect the people that work to give it to them.
Honestly I have yet to hear my fiance' raise his voice once in anger. I have never seen him even get mad at anyone. So let them be.

what are you talking about? You must have been called some names and then had your azz handed to you from someone in the military.
