"Origin of the Species" is an interesting read for historic purposes, but "The Selfish Gene" is more current and accurate at explaining evolutionary theory in the context of the discovery of DNA, which is very important. The Blind Watchmaker is a good after reading the Selfish Gene. So, I would say if you have to read one, read "The Selfish Gene."
Also check out "The Ancestor's Tale"
But really, shouldn't this be a question for the Biology section?

It is according to what level your knowledge on the subject is. Origin of Species I wouldn't recommend at all to learn about evolution. Not that it is wrong, it is just outdated. The Selfish Gene is great, a must read really, if you already have a basic understanding of how evolution works. If you are new to learning about evolution then go with "The Blind Watchmaker" or "Climbing Mount Improbable."

Check out the _Origin of Species_. It's the bedrock document of, well, all of biology. Plus, Darwin has some really wonderful metaphors. You should definitely check out some more modern works, too, because the theory has evolved (heh) over the past 150 years, but you can't go wrong starting at the beginning.

The Selfish Gene of those - but you might want to read the Ancestor's Tale as well - it's basically tracing our lineage from common ancestor to ancestor - it's fascinating. It's also one of Dawkin's.
