Many Messianic Jews (which a lot of people see as Chistians), believe that eating pork is wrong. Some believe that the sheet of food that came down (which is why a lot of Christian beieve that esting pok is ok) was actually a representation that gentiles could now be save also.
I personally (and other believers I am close friends with) are NOT quick to condemn gay people. The Bible does however say that men lying with me is an abomination. I have gay friends, I don't agree with what they do, but I treat them with love and kindess because you should always treat people as people, with love and understanding/emapthy, not judgement and hate. I do not have to agree with someone to get along with them. Difference doesn't make them an enemy. It is up to me to make live my life the way I feel is right, and I can't live anyone else's for them.

Act 10 9 And on the next day, whilst they were going on their journey, and drawing nigh to the city, Peter went up to the higher parts of the house to pray, about the sixth hour. 10 And being hungry, he was desirous to taste somewhat. And as they were preparing, there came upon him an ecstasy of mind.
11 And he saw the heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending, as it were a great linen sheet let down by the four corners from heaven to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts, and creeping things of the earth, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him: Arise, Peter; kill and eat. 14 But Peter said: Far be it from me; for I never did eat any thing that is common and unclean. 15 And the voice spoke to him again the second time: That which God hath cleansed, do not thou call common.
The old law is washed away.

We choose to ignore parts of the bible we don't like. Funny, becuase many Christian conservatives saying gays are sinful give the quote from Leviticus. Yet, they are the first ones to eat pork without a second thought.

Those who are saved are not condemned. When we sin and the Holy Spirit shows us our sin it is called "Conviction". If a gay person is saved they are not condemned for being gay. If I say that homosexuality is sin and that bothers you that is called conviction. Meaning that deep down inside you know that it's sin. Christians are not perfect, we all have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. We just sin in different areas. The difference is that before we are saved we are comfortable in our sin. When we get saved we no longer feel comfortable in our sin. When the Holy Spirit makes us feel bad every time we do something chances are, eventually, we will stop doing it. It becomes no longer fun to do that sin. Sin looses it's appeal.

Christians are not under the Levitical dietary or ceremonial laws. Having an understanding of the historical context of the time and the reason behind the dietary laws would help you greatly. And yes, the New Testament does condemn homosexuality, along with adultery, fornication, and other sins of the flesh. God calls it sin, we pass that info to you. Don't like it? Talk to the boss.

Forget where it says, but somewhere in the Bible, it states in some way that everything has been made clean or anew after Jesus came. Therefore you can eat stuff now without worryng about offending God.
About the gay thing, it's between them and God, not anyone else has a say in that. They should make thier own peace.

You are too silly my friend. Those old JEWISH laws do not apply to Christians or Gentiles. In the new testament Jesus stated, "It is not what goes in a man that makes him unclean, it is what comes out." All food is CLEAN. It is absolutely ok to eat pork. Jews practice those old laws and that is ok if that is what they want to do but for the rest of us it is ok to eat a pig. LOL

Those are food laws and the sexual sin is a deeper sin. Yes God loves the sinner and hates the sin, and we are all sinners, don't get hung up on other people, seek the lord and compare your deeds with his, not man. But homosexuality and fornication and adultery are all sexual sin and they get the same curse.

God in the New Testament said do not call anything unclean that He has cleansed. He said it was O.K. to eat pork as long as it did not offend a brother.
