I wouldnt kiss butt.Sorry but shes the one who stopped talking first for some dumb reason. You could be the bigger person to call first but then risk the same kind of thing happening again.Who needs it? If she calls & says,,oh,,how dumb that was & maybe even an,,Im sorry or whatever,,well then,,Id try to rekindle.

Don't worry about your dignity...Do you really want this person in your life? Will they do this again? Have you been able to go on without them? Are they truly significant to you? I had a so called friend of 30 yrs, and periodically she would just stop talking to me, time would pass, and eventually we would resume our friendship. A couple of years ago this person did some really horrible things to me and my family. I have forgiven her, but want no active involvement with her ever again.

well, that should be a choice that you make yourself but if i were in your shoes, i would remember what my parents used to tell me, 2 wrongs don't make a right, the 1st wrong would be that your friend stopped talking to you for know dag on reason and the 2nd wrong would be that if you kept not talking to her bacause she stopped talking to you, she is going to continue not to talk to you just because she would be thinking/saying the same things you are saying/ so don't you think that instead of being stubborn because she is, you should be the bigger person in the situation? good luck and i hope that you make the right choice to create a happy ending/new beginning to your relationship with your best friend!!!

There is great dignity in having the courage to take the first step towards reconciling the friendship. Follow your heart :-)

Remember, often pride can destroy relationships over bullcrap. If I were you I would have only given it a month then called her anyhow. So I would seriously call her and try to salvage this friendship before it really is destroyed, even if it means swallowing one's pride.Surely, a friend is worth that much..right?

Call her one more time, wish her a happy new year and tell her that you'd like to get back to being friends. If she is not interested, don't try again.

⥠⥠if she is your best friend and you miss her then call her, who cares about details, friendship is more important...pride and dignity can get in the way but people is where life is at.. and the more mature person makes the first move ⥠â¥

Someone has to make the first step...if you try and she doesn't talk with you or she hang's up on you then you can move on and know that you have tried.. good luck!
