I was just wondering if anyone knew a good way to re-do roots in your hair, where your natural color is coming back? The other times i've done it, i always missed some spots, and i dont really wanna go to a salon, anyone know a good way to do it ?

I'd go to a salon, you can't do as good a job yoourself, and if you try you could ruin your hair, so just go to a salon, if your worried about the price, just go to a beauty school, or find a good salon that dosen't charge an arm and a leg.

i've tried that before! but it is very difficult because its difficult to see your crown and not to mention the back of your head. from my experience the best way to do it is to use a flat and narrowly separated comb. squeeze the dye in a line on the teeth of the comb, and then comb thru the roots to say, about 5cm away from it (unless your hair already outgrew that length- if so then do it further. this is to minimise wastage), section by section. i do it from the back near the neck and proceed upwards, with the to-be-dyed hair tied or pinned up. slowly release those hair as you move to the other sections. careful not to stain your scalp though. hope this helps! :) i always dispose the comb afterwards, fyi :D

Go to Sally's and get a color bowl and brush and then go to the dollar store or somewhere and buy the color that you want to color your hair then just mix the color and have someone put it on your natural to the already colored part i do retouches all the time and that's the best way i know how to do it.
