1. yes, offcourse ; but you have not mentioned whether you want to control births only or both mating and births? 2. bitches come to heat & allow mating after every 6 months.blood like drops start dropping from vagina ; they continue for 5-7 days.bitches don't allow mating during this time.after droppings stop, bitches allow for mating for about a week, maximum. 3. they allow multiple matings during this time. 4. they deliver puppies exactly on 62 or 63rd day after mating. 5. to abort pregnancy ; or u can say to stop being pregnant ; give an injection of diethylstilbesterol within a week after mating. 6. as far as the question of stopping mating is concerned ; and that too without surgery, best way is to keep the ***** away from males for a week after the stoppage of blood dropings. 7. hormonal/medicine treatment is also possible , but only an experienced vet. can do so,and, that too will be very costly. 8. so the best way is to follow step number 6.

Just like human birth control methods, there are actually dog birth control pills, dog condoms and other methods to prevent female dogs from going into heat!

Dog condoms are increasing in popularity and are in most tests, are about as effective as human counterparts. They come in sizes designed to fit small, medium, and large breed dogs. The condoms are available in meat scented and lubricated to increase pleasure for both dogs.
