exfoliating mouth area?

i recently had a chemical peel and the area around my mouth was peeling so i exfoliated the area around my mouth. and after i did, after a few hours later it stings whenever i try to open my mouth and i get cuts when i open it. i believe its because the skin around the mouth is sensitive than the other parts but how do i ease the pain or fix it?

use oragel for pain relief, use moisturisers and lotions for skin regrowth, see a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen or if new symptoms develope, good luck
