It claims itself to be the Word of God, 2 Timothy 3/16-17, 2 Peter 1/20-21, Peter counts Pauls's epistles as Scriptures, 2 Peter 3/16, and Christ freely quoted from the Old Testament as Scripture, which cannot be broken.

Further, examination shows it to be perfectly consistent, in perfect harmony conveying a unique message, and containing many prophecies of at least 400 years standing, some over thousands, by different people in different circumstances perfectly and accurately fulfilled, in accordance with the test given by Scripture for determining authenticity.

In addition experience has shown that accepting it as the Word of God has led to the knowledge of God, brought restored communion with God, and changed lives as described by that Word.

The evidence is beyond reasonable doubt.

Yes, it necessarily follows that all 'other' religions are against the Word of God.

The Old Testament is the word of Jehovah
The New Testament is the word of Jesus Christ
The Koran is the word of Allah

If all these gods exist then it doesn't mean that they are against other religions but if there is only one God then the wrong one whichever one that is would be against the word of god.

Is the Bible Gods Word? The following link should explain it:

Well in Islam we beleive in the Bible (i.e. Torah, Psalms and Gospel). However we beleive that the Bible we have today is not the one revealed by God to Jesus. The Bible itself testifies that it is corrupt:

" 'How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? (Jeremiah 8:8)

There are also many contradictions in the Bible for example:

Who was the father of Joseph, husband of Mary?
(a) Jacob (Matthew 1:16).
(b) Heli (Luke 3:23).

Was John the Baptist Elijah who was to come?
(a) Yes (Matthew 11:14, 17:10-13).
(b) No (John 1:19-21).

Who incited David to count the fighting men of Israel?
(a) God did (2 Samuel 24:1)
(b) Satan did (1 Chronicles 21:1).

So how can God's word contain cantradictions?

Do the other religions have doctrines especially saying, "Ew, yuck, the Bible, ptooey"? Actually, there are plenty of religions that are pretty open to their practitioners checking out the other religions as well. Eastern religions in particular have a "there are many paths to Enlightenment" vibe going on.

Now, you could make an argument that the Bible is anti-other religions. There are certainly some... smitey bits in the Old Testament, and then there's that "worship me _only_" commandment. Personally, I rather think Jesus was more laid back than that, but that's just me.

I think you might find that the Qur'an is the word of God, dictated to Mohamed (pbuh) by God himself.
I don't think you will find any claims anywhere that the bible was written by anyone but the apostles.
So I guess, by your logic, that makes Christianity "against the word of God".
Luckily for you, the Qur'an says that Christianity is OK, because Christians believe in one God.

The Bible was written by men, and therefore is the word of man.

Believing in Deity, I can accept that there are words of wisdom between the covers of that book. True enough, there may be words of wisdom in any book written by men.

In any case, it's not a book which can be used to objectively condemn anyone, prove the existence of a god, or judge the merit of any other religion.

We,Muslims believe holy Bible as word of God but now, it is not in its original form, as revealed on Prophet Issa (pbuh).
People has mad so many alterations in it.
We believe the holy Quran is finally refined, upgraded and updated word of God. Now it is not possible to change even a single abbreviation of it, as almighty Allah has promised to take responsibility of its protection.
You will not find any single alphabit altered in holy Quran till the last day of this universe

I don't really look at the Bible as "God's word", though his word may be conveyed to us through the Bible, but I view the Bible as a historical book. If I write a sermon, inspired by the Holy Spirit (like the Bible is said to be) then is my sermon God's Word? I don't think it would be, yet God's word might be conveyed through it............... I think the Bible is largely the same, though of course more sacred due to its content.
