My turn to cook - it's all left over from Saturday's barbie (we're in Melbourne)

will take all the salad leaves in the fridge; poach the asparagus, slice the rest of the roasted veg (pumpkin, peppers etc) and that last bit of basil, drizzle the lot with oil & balsamic, do the last few chicken kebabs in the frying pan (not worth firing up the barbie) and eat it by the pool as the sun goes down. Glass of chilled white ? Oh, I think so.

Roast beef, Yorkshire pud, etc, apple and blackberry pie and custard. Should have had it yesterday but so busy doing something else I forgot to take the meat out of the freezer.

Well mine was gonna be salmon with some frozen veg, and no, the veg will be cooked before I eat it! But Kevvin's finger food comment has gotten me thinking - that would be nicer. Some cheese, crackers, olives, tomatoes, crusty bread, pate.....

Cab to Tesco Express please!!
