he told me that when kitties are in heat some owners moist a qtip and ya know..help the kitty get off that way. was he lying? cause i think thats pretty creepy..

Unfortunately, he's right...most female cats are not only in heat, but in pain when they are in heat when don't have the proper way to "relieve" themselves. A moistened Qtip will take care of it, and your cat will be pain free and happy until the next time they go into heat. Ask a veterinarian, they'll tell you the same thing.

Sick and perverted as it may seem it is ture that it works my grandfather had a dairy farm (while alive( and well he used to do that cuz he just didn't belive in taking the cats in to get fixed he would put them in a kennel Qtip them and wait 3 days and turn them loose and they would be out of heat.

I have heard that before, but you know, it is not gonna do anything for the cat. The cat isn't looking to "get off" if is looking to ger pregnant. Your boyfriend sounds like a pervert.

I have never heard of such a thing but I would think that he either got the story wrong and misunderstood or that the person telling him that was bluffing and he was gullible enough to believe it. Happy New Year!

if she isnt bred she will continue to be in heat, hes a sicko. get the kitty fixed, you can call various shelters until you find one that arranges very low cost or even free neutering.

he amy not but i have a cat who was in heat. cats are in heat cuz they want to have babies. i have a cat who was in heat and i got her sprayed by a vet. try that
