No parrot can transmit a disease to humans--most cockatoos at a pet store can run from 1500-2500 dollars. Theyre is several different species, that range in size from 12 inches to to 24 inches or so. The Goffin's being the smallest, and the umbrella, or Moluccan being the largest!!! Birdman

Any bird is capable of carrying disease, just as any human is capable of carrying disease. They can easily cost $2000.00USD. They can grow to be five or six feet tall if fed a nutritious diet.
