Where can I buy really cute accessories for my room?

I just got a plain lime green bedspread from pb teen and i need some stuff like picture frames and lamps and lantern kind of things. p.s. i love pink and greeen and blue kind of colors!

it would depend on your budget. you won't believe it but you can get cute things in places such as target, jcpenny or even sears. you can also start by repainting your room. that will add a lot of spice to it. if it is a neutral color, then for your plain lime green bedspread get some throw pillows that have pink, green and blue designs on them. maybe a plain pink and plain blue and a stripped pink, green and blue. you can have drapes that are inexpensive at walmart of the other shops i mentioned. also, buy some cute baskets and put pink and green ribbons around it and in the baskets you can put candles and nice scented soups.
candles are a great addition to your room. you can have a grouping of mint, pink and blue candles on your dresser beside a picture frame that may have little accents of the same color. if you already have a lamp, just remake the lamp shade by adding ruffles or ribbons to give it the accent you want. you can have a nice pretty room without spending too much. a little can go a long way.

Target has a lot of accessories right now that are lime green and blue. They also have a lot of pink combos. I saw lamps, but I'm not sure about the frames and lanterns. They had storage stuff and other cute things. I was just there a few days ago.

Try doing a lot of it yourself, you'll save money and be proud. You can get plain wood mirrors from Ikea, paint them a base color (I did white with mine) and then take a small bathroom dixie cup and dip it in another color (I did pink) and put it on the mirror. You end up with a funky polka dot mirror, for around $5 each. You can buy frames at craft stores and do the same process, so they match.

There is a ton of information on the internet about making homemade lampshades, curtains and more. Learn this skill now, as it may come in handy one day.

Spending $60 for curtains I can make for 20 is kind of silly to me. You can decorate your curtain rod yourself too, just use a dowel rod.

Hows your budget? I like the Better Homes and Gardens lay-outs, but may be costly. Just review the bedrooms lamps, frames...etc., and you can usually find what you want at the nearest garage sales or old antique stores very good deals for neat thing for bedrooms.
