.. how to connect with my inner self? In addition, how to i request for protection from my spirit guide? When i read with The Draw (3 cards), is it acceptable to use only the major arcana cards? Thanks for taking time to read this, i look forward to seeing valuable insights. PS: please do not spam the answers with tarot being blasphemous to your *Cough* religion. i believe in it and there are many other people who share the same view. Please be sensitive towards others' beliefs.

Looks like tarot parts been covered. To connect with your (completely safe) spirit guide-anytime- just ask that you guide(s) be with you. Picture in your mind or however you feel it best a white light completely surrounding you. then ask that only beings of light be there with you, and ask for your spirit guide(s) be there with you. You can be assured your guide invited is happy to be there, I use tarot & like to ask if there is a message that is important for me to know now, that my guide help me to get it in a way I get & thats joyful! The joyful part helps!! Guides are nothing to fear. Guides have to be asked to help they can't just do it on there own. Ask your Angels for protection. We've all got guardian angels too. Oh yeah, Major arcana cards represent big universal things going on in your life, the minor arcana is said to represent day to day. If you use full deck, pay attention to majors when they come up. check out www.tarot.com for all kinds of great tarot info.

If you just keep asking the same question or variations on the same question over and over again within a short period of time (such as "Will he ask me to marry him?" "Will he ask me to marry him next week?" "Will he ask me to marry him on a boat?" etc) then you're likely to get jumbled and useless answers after a point because if you keep asking, then you're obviously missing the answers that you started out with and nothing more can be gained by consulting the cards yet again. Think of this scenario. You go to a concert and walk up to the bouncer. You: Can I get in? Bouncer: Do you have a ticket? You: No. Bouncer: Then no. You: But I really want to. Bouncer: Sorry. You: Can I get in? Bouncer: Not without a ticket. You: What if I showed you my belly button? Bouncer: What if you bought a ticket? You: What if I were wearing a different color shirt? Bouncer: Absolutely not! You: What if I came back in five minutes? Bouncer: No! Jeez! You just don't get the concept, do you?! The bouncer technically said something different each time, but the message was essentially the same and you just weren't catching on. Repeated readings can be like that. The cards can provide perspective if you let them speak, but if you insist on constantly throwing cards for the same question all the time, then clearly you're not getting anything useful from any of the readings. Stop doing readings. Read once for the question and let whatever insights you get sink in. If you don't get any insights, then leave it be or a while since you're clearly not ready to hear what you might need to hear. Just some thoughts. -Scarlet

While I don't know every thing about reading the Tarot Cards.I will do my best to answer you.
to start with it is a form of divination that only gives posibilites of what might happen if you keep following the same path.
You connect with it through your subconsisious mind and soul.
You cannot ask for protection from your spirit guide through the cards.
As for the Draw three form I can offer no help. Right now as I would have to find my tarot card books to answer that.

Hmm, well I'll answer as best I can.

I'm not sure how to connect with your inner self. You need to learn who you are without benefit of any religion, any man, etc. You need to be just you. I'm not sure how to tell you to do that.

As for your spirit guide, I don't play with the spirits. Ever. They're dangerous and they aren't toys. I can't tell you how to connect because I never voluntarily connect. They come to me, I don't go the other way.

As for tarot, why would you only use the Major Arcana for the Draw? You wouldn't get an accurate reading because you're cutting out a portion of the deck.

If you are using Tarot cards as an oracle, you may be more inclined to read card meanings and spreads. But if using Tarot Cards as a tool for Psychic Ability you would be less likely to hold to any hard and fast guide lines. I’m a profession psychic and use Tarot Cards in a random way. In 25 years of professional readings I’ve never used any ‘meanings, spreads or reversals’ of tarot cards from any books.

So if you want to develop ‘Psychic Ability’ throw the books and guidelines away and let the images inspire you. But you may need to try the Rider Waite or another imaged deck.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense.

To tap in to it more you can go to my free develop-psychic-ability page here: http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-psychic-ability.html

But on the other hand, if you want to use the Tarot as an oracle, a form of divination that needs no real ‘psychic ability’, then keep the books and use the meanings and spreads if you prefer.

Here is a free download demo for a great Tarot program. To keep the size of the demo manageable it contains the Rider/Waite deck, the actual program will have 10 complete decks. This Demo version of Tarot is a full working copy for 30 days. So you get 30 days to study meanings and spreads! http://www.free-tarot-download-demo.wotsnext.com

First protect yourself in white light and ask your angels to guard you as you meditate. Focus your thoughts on your inner self, when you sleep ask your angels to show your inner self in your dreams and make sure you ask for their protection.
As for the drawing I suggest 5 - 7 cards using the complete deck. Spread them out fan spread and choose the ones you feel drawn too.
Never use a ouji or spirit board!
