Your skin must not have stretched as quickly as some peoples. The stretch marks I had from my pregnancy seemed to show up overnight and they were very red and faded to a tone lighter than my skin color. However, the stretchmarks that I got as I put on a few pounds over the years never were red - just lighter than my skin color. I think that you are pretty normal.

It is all a part of your heredity, many of us are blessed to not have those red marks. Can't say that I've really known anyone with those red marks turning white (ish), They're either dark or they're light. Most often times women get stretch marks after having a baby.

I never had red stretch marks. I heard that people can get red and even purple ones. I heard it's from gaining weight too fast and white ones were from a gradual weight gain. (Not sure if this is correct) Don't worry, nothing is wrong with you. Also, be happy, they're not as noticable.

Sweetheart, your stretch marks aren't weird! Stretch marks depend on different variables like your skin color and type and genetics and reason for stretch marks (growth spurt vs. weight gain vs. pregnancy).
And everybody gets them unless their genetically gifted!

it might just be that your skin was naturally stretching, instead of quickly stretching like most peoples..... also, nationality makes a difference. if you gained weight, it could just be that the fat built up under your strech marks instead of with the rest of the fat cells that were already there......
be thankful!!!!
