well, you kind of already broke the ice with becoming friends with him and all, i suggest you invite him to somthing, but say "only as friends" so he doesent take it to seriosly. then, when he sees how fun you were on that "not date" he'll probably really consider asking you out. and if you think thats to obvious, try inviting him to a party, that atmosphere might get him to loosen up and you can try making your move then. well, good luck!
