I dont know whether or not to trust my boyfriend, when hes sober for some reason I can trust him, we are never a part so its not like hes cheating now, but every few months he goes back home (another country) for birthdays and stuff, he dont hardly drink but I think if he was drunk and a girl put it on the plate he would take it only because the night we met he wouldnt even speak to me because he was that shy then he had a few pints and he wouldnt get off me! what do men think?

they always blame drink for cheating but I know its a load of bull so I want serious answers, if you were drunk so you feel more brave and some slutty girl came on to you, because you was with a girl you loved... would you pass or go for it?

Chances are that if he's drunk he's not thinking straight and will probably stray if some slutty girl is persistent about it. And it's not like you're on his mind at this particular time, I think he's just thinking, he want a piece of what she's offering. I mean all man, or at least most man will practically cheat if the opportunity presents itself, and especially if he's distorted due to being drunk. I say tell him to stop drinking to the point of drunkenness because it'll put your relationship in jeopardy.
Think about it...any man would throw themselvess at any girl that throws themselve at him especially if he's drunk! He may not have done it to hurt you but may have just gotten a little too much into the "in the moment" thing.
Tell him he can't drink excessively unless you are there to supervise him.

cheating is not about being drunk or sober, it is a character flaw, or more appropriate a lack of devotion. Many people loose control of their senses when drunk / high so the probability is higher that they will allow their character flaws to arise to the occasion. However, you need to realize that if this person will do this when drunk, this is the same person, same character flaw when sober, and under the right circumstances will do the same when sober, just done a bit more carefully.

If you can't trust him 24/7, you can't trust him at all. The fact that you're worried about what he might do when drunk shows that
(a) he has a drinking problem and
(b) you have a gut feeling that he is not trustworthy.
I'd say get out now.

Let me begin to say that birds of a feather flock together. If he's attracting such people theres a reason why. I wouldn't trust a man as far as I could throw him. Alcholic beverages are spirits in a bottle. Once in your body, they contain you.
