Dogs can detect 1/1000 of an odor a human could. Other than that the common equipment is x-ray and chemical "sniffing" equipment.

Yes we do. A lot of man made ones but we have been using mother nature now. There are bees used to sniff bombs and some kind of small mammal that we usually know (not a rat).

"Bomb disposal is the process by which hazardous explosive devices are rendered safe. "Bomb disposal" is an all encompassing term to describe the separate, but interrelated, fields of military (IEDD,Explosive Ordnance Disposal, EOD), public safety (Public Safety Bomb Disposal, PSBT, Bomb Squad) and civilian (Unexploded Ordnance, UXO) operations."

Yes, there is, but it is useless apart from propaganda value. Bombers will always choose targets where there is no such equipment. There is not one documented case where an attempted bombing has been prevented by the use of such equipment.
