My kitten Oreo is always playing with tiger but then sometime oreo bite tiger kinda hard so that tiger squeals and cries out. is this normal cos i heard that its just the kitten telling the other one that its biting just a little too hard! what should i do?
they are both males but they're not related. Oreo is 11 weeks and tiger is 8 weeks.

They are just being kittens and are teathing and playing. I hope you plan on getting them neutered when they are older. They will calm down as they grow up together and get older. Be patient!

Really they are just working out their kitten thing and Oreo is just trying to be boss man. If Oreo were really hurting Tiger he would run away to hide from him.
If Oreo continues to bully Tiger you might look into using some flower essences with him. Go to www.spiritessence.com and read about using them. Dr. Jean Hovfe has a "Bully Remedy" which you could use on Oreo. Give it some time still and if you feel the bullying is a real problem in the next month then consider getting the remedy for Oreo.

Well, as long as they both go looking for one another when they're separated, they're doing OK. If Tiger was afraid of Oreo he'd try to avoid him.
I think you're right in separating them when Oreo hurts Tiger. That gives them a time-out to calm down. It may also teach Oreo that when he's too rough on Tiger he'll be made to stop playing.
Pretty soon the three week age difference won't matter and there will probably be less of a size difference. For now they seem to be OK and you seem to be handling the situation well.

they're just playing, Oreo hasn't yet learned boundaries. Don't worry it will all work itself out. Most likely after a while Tiger will get tired of it and bite back....then Oreo will learn the lesson. Same way a human child learns not to touch a hot stove....no matter how many times they are told don't touch they still want to then they do but I'm sure they never do it again. Separating them just makes the whole process take longer.

Yeah, Oreo is just being a little aggressive. The squealing is the same as if two kids are playing and one says "ow!" but doesn't start crying, etc.
The fact that they look for each other when separated indicates that they have a healthy relationship. I would just keep an eye on both...make sure neither has any open scratches or wounds, and watch if either of them favor a particular leg or start licking one area consistently (these are signs of a wound).
As they both get older, they will learn what REALLY hurts, and what they are doing now won't cause any squeals.

They need this play in order to understand what they should and shouldn't do. When Tiger squeals that lets Oreo know he's being too rough. If he keeps it up, I'm sure Tiger will find other more direct methods of telling him to stop it.

First congrats on your kittens! They sound adorable. That little conversation you heard between them was their way of telling each other, "hey you need to not bite me so hard." Kittens sometimes play too roughly and if there are other cats around, they'll let them know when they're getting out of hand. Kitties do communicate with each other in a number of ways. The only time I'd be concerned was if they drew blood. The fact that they do look for each other indicates that they get along. :)

Kittens sometimes play rough, it's absolutely normal; it's the way they grow up. Just like kids sometimes like to roughhouse, and once in a while one might get a scrape or bruise -- it's perfectly normal and nothing at all to worry about.
You're right, Tiger is pretty much telling Oreo that he needs to back off a little bit ;) Growing up together like this, they'll probably be lifelong best friends. Don't worry about their little spats -- they won't really hurt each other and it's totally normal.

It is normal. I have three cats 2 male 1 female and they all do that somtimes. But you should get them both fixed after they reach about 8-10 months of age otherwise they will start to get aggresive with each other as thier male hormones start to kick in. But for now don't worry about them fighting

They are just kittens and playing. The play can get quite rough at times.
