Forget about the chocolate...its caused by bacteria. Give your skin a good cleansing with a mild soap and apply an anti acne cream for a couple of nights. Drink lots of water.

Choclate DOES NOT cause acne. Trust me, I have never had acne, but I have asked my dermatolagist (i have another skin condition) and the chocolatey goodness definitely wont hurt your face, though it could have some other bad health effects aside from that.

Many people are just predisposed to breaking out. I got lucky and got my mom's side of the gene pool, because EVERYONE on my dad's side has had horrible acne at some point in their life.

Also, poor hygene and oily skin can cause breakouts and acne. Make sure your washing your face with a good foamy, and preferrably hypoallergenic facial treatment.

There are many products out that can help and actually significantly reduce the amount of pimples you get, depending on the cause. I suggest you talk to a dermatologist if you are that concerned.

Chocolate will not cause you to have pimples. Many things can cause acne. Somethings are touching your face, hormones, oily skin, dry skin, and stress. You should use a gentle cleanser, a toner/astringent, and an oil-fee moisturizer twice a day. Also make sure that your makeup is oil-free also. I can recommend the Clinique line that's targeted for acne, Acne Solutions. It is very good. Deffinately worth the price! Good luck.

I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer ten times. Each time, the person said it worked great. I'll copy and paste it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Actually from what I hear, the food doen't actually cause the acne, but if you are eating a lot, it could be because of stress which could cause zits. I have heard that Proactive works pretty well. I have also heard that if you put witch hazel on your face, that can help.

I recommend a product called "Purpose" and it can be purchased in your local Walmart. I prefer the liquid over the bar soap though. Personal preference! I have never been able to use soap or any type of lotion on my face. Guess what! I use both now made by the same company.
