hi. first off, i'd like to apologize if me questions isn't as accurate to my problem (i just can't think of how to word it). Second off is my problem. I can't fall in love with a girl at first sight weather i want to or not. Also, if a girl likes me, there is a good chance that i don't like her back even if i want to have feelings for her. Yes. i've had romantic feelings for a few girls and no, not any boys but whenever i hear of love at first sight, i can't help but feel depressed. i just can't do it. Is someone even able to force themselves into liking someone else? maybe i'm trying too hard. i dont know. help would be nice.

IMO guys most of the time see "love" more rational. There is nothing wrong with that; it is just a different angle. Everybody (should) have his or her own "definition" of what "love" means. For some it means the emotional thing, not being able to eat, going crazy, romantic feelings etc. . For others it means something different. In my book, love means first of all the highest level of respect you can have for another person. If you don't have the whole emotional thing in the beginning and it is the right girl, you figure after a while that you love her. As simple as that. Can love be "forced"? Of course not. Love just comes and gets you; especially when you don't expect it.

I believe there is no such thing as love at first sight, attraction, possibly but never love, I am not sure about you but I need to know a person very well before I would feel any sort of commitment to them, there are to many people out there that think that if they twist themselves into something they are not it might work, and that is the reason why we have a 50% chance of a divorce. I would sooner get to know a person very well. you have the rest of your life to be married, are you not wise to invest some time and effort into making sure you have found the right person to spend that life with?

its different for everyone. I believe in love at first sight, it just something inside of you that just nags u to death ;)! You cant force it, thats just wrong you'll end up unhapy. I guess thats the same as talking yourself into it huh? Boy, I should take my own advice...sometimes I wonder if I should have been born blonde? But don't feel depressed I bet you'll find the perfect girl soon!

you should not force your self . it will come just be patiant . oh and like side bar here i like had love at first sight with a guy who has your name but that was fifve years ago and well yeah. i wish you luck in your situation

you cant force your self to like anyone and why would you want to?falling for some one is such a wonderful feeling it is something you cant ignore you know when it is there I hope you are able to experience this one day.
