It depends on the size of your purse and how much other stuff you have in it. If you mean a pet carrier purse, absolutely! Most of them can hold up to 8-10 lb. dogs.

I have a 5 month old Bichonpoo who weighs 6 pounds. When I put her inside my jacket she goes from my chin to my just below my waist - I am 5 ft 4 in tall. I think she would fjt in a large purse. depends on the breed. some breeds are small and compact while others are tall and more spread out. I have a three pound poodle and he is almost to big to put into a purse. Most people that look at him think he ways 10 lbs.

Why do people want to carry their pets in a purse?!?! I don't get it. Dogs are for pets. To be a part of your family. It's not some fade. Something you show off and carry around in your purse like Paris Hilton. Ugh!
