in california most of the fun guns are illegal. whatever you do dont register it with the state if you want to keep it. also there are several websites you can order mags. from the only problem is finding one that will ship it to california. best bet is to find someone outside the state that it can be shipped to then re-package it and send it to you. good luck

You can get AK magazines at any good gunshop(except those in the Peoples' Democratic Republic of California), mostly for a good price, like $10.00-$15.00 or so.

You'll probably want to head on over to Nevada to shoot it. Don't let anyone on the PDRC see you transporting it; your state is infested with more informers and Party apparatchiks than Moscow in the 1930's. If you get caught with it, it's off to the "re-education camps" for "anti-state activities" or "wrecking" or maybe even "counter-revolutionary thought processes". Be very careful!

Ironic that the PDRC has banned one of the most notable symbols of revolutionary socialism, the AK-47...

I feel sorry for you, Because Hungarian AKs are very good quality and you live in the PRC. I have never had the opportunity to even see a KBI-Hunky AK here in Ohio at any gunshop.

You lucky dog, people just giving you guns? Wish I had your friends. Yeah, I would check the website below for the specific CA laws. Really, it might be perfectly legal, depending on the specific characteristics of your AK.

To be safe, you might have to stick with 10-round magazines(sucks) but I'm not that familiar with their laws. Just move a couple hundred miles north and you'll be safe, c'mon, everybody's doing in!
