I'm looking for a summer car. Something for street racing, drifting and chick magnet. Needs to be rear wheel drive. Want something kinda unique. Thinking maybe a Lexus SC300 or Mazda Rx-7. Any ideas? What do you think?

Try a used nissan 240sx in good shape. They are cheap, easy to modify and are very easy to drift an race some of they were convertibles too. Altough the purchase price will be low the car needs modifications to the engine or else it will be too slow. Try a JDM engine replacement with an SR20DET turbo engine. Figure on paying a few thousand for the car and a few thousand for the engine swap and you will be good to go. The rx-7 is harder to find and a little more expensive. The lexus sc300 would probably be your best bet with ladies but is not going to do as well in racing/drifting. The fwd and awd cars like the neon will NEVER be able to drift although they maybe be very fast at the drag strip. To be a chick magnet a car must look good, be clean, no decals, no crazy striping or graphics and it must look like it is a "fancy or classy" car (so the fast yet cheap economy cars like the neon, civic, etc) are not really going to attract women as much as an actual sportscar like the nissan, or the rx-7 or the sc300.

Well for one, the 200SX even with nitrous is not capable of 200mph unless somebody had put 50 to 80 grand in it. (It would take about to 700 horsepower to accomplish this) At that point it would pretty much be a track specific race car. Other than that, hes having fun with a sports car.

in all seriousness though get a neon srt-4
http://www.dodge.com/en/caliber/caliber_srt4.html

who cares what wheel drive it is,, it is as fast as any mustang, vette , camaro, firebird, or any foreign jobiedoo,,, it has a 4 clyinder turbo , racing suspension, and is able to run stoutly,, w/ a few , very economical upgrades , this thing will run mid 11's in the qtr mile and still looks good and stock as hell,,, give it a try stickers at only about $22,000 and worth every penny makes a mean almost 250 hp

dont get a solstace or neon. there rice to a new level. get a 350Z because they have a one of the best powerplants to build on. plus they come with 300hp stock and look very sporty. I would advise you not to get a rx7 because after about 100k miles the rotary engines go to hell.
