I am alone tonight in my apartment but my friend was here for the evening and tomorrow my family will all gather at my daughter's and son-in-law's for a traditional blackeyed peas with jowl, a big pot of greens, crusty cornbread, some side dishes and a dessert. We will enjoy each other and have a wonderful day. This is the way I like it!!

I can't believe your that alone, afterall that's why we are all on this yahoo answer site, right?
Me, I don't feel like spending two hours getting ready to go out after work. Thanks to technology, I can meet people in the privacy of my home, in my pajamas, with hot rollers on, after working until 11:00 a.m., without spending alot of money and having more disappointments.
Thanks to technology, we can turn and shut ourselves off.
