Look on the bright side...you could be in a relationship, and the kids could be running around acting like brats and open a bottle of champagne that you were going to share with your old man, but now he snoring on the couch and your wondering how it came to this!

Think about all the blessings in your life. Do you have family loves you? Are you employed? Do you have a warm house to live in?What things do you have to be thankful for?
What could 2007 bring you? What are your dreams? After you have pondered this, and told God how thankful you are for him and all you blessings, turn on Dick Clark’s New Years Eve. Think about how you would feel if you were in that huge crowd with a couple of friends, drinking like there is no tomorrow. You have the primo spot right up by the band and just as they are getting ready to sing, you suddenly have to go to the bathroom really really bad and it can’t wait. You will have to fight the crowd to find a bathroom and by the time you get back and find your friends, if you find your friends, it will be over. Now, would you wanna be there? :)
Have a Happy New Year!

Well right now I am on the internet browsing the web but most likely I will be asleep when it rolls in if not like you said cry, it is okay to shed a tear. Crying is healthy for you. I know it sucks to be alone on New Years but to me it is just another day and it is the same as any other day that you are alone, so what do you do on those days, you do them tonight.

Make a decision to work on yourself for the New Year. While I have never placed much emphasis on New Years Eve, when I feel bad, I think of it as a chance to start anew, and to change things. Good luck with everything...you can get through this.

Do something positive for yourself like reading a book, this really alleviates loneliness. Also get an avon or mary-kay make-over. They come to your home. And last but not least ; start going to Church-this is absolutely the best!!!

Most people worry because they think they are the only ones with nothing to do on New Years, however it's not true. There are many, many people who are in the same situation.
