We have 4 dogs...I'll start from the oldest to the youngest.

1.Riley is a male tiny toy poodle he is black and hides when we try to take his picture. He was given to us by the Amish. He is approx.10-12 years old. He is our big protecter or thinks he is.

2. Oreo is a male springer spaniel/lab mix he is mostly black and with some white with black speckles. He is a moose. He was found abandoned in a ditch with 3 other siblings pups when he was about 8 weeks old. We bought him for $5.00 at a camp charity auction. He is 8 years old now.

3. Motley is a male pom. He was named Motley because we bought him from the town of Motley. When he was 7 months old he took a fall and suffered a broken leg and broke it in 2 places at the knee which even when casted twice,1 bone never healed properly. He is my little hop-a-long, but his handicap doesn't seem to slow him down any. He was 1 year old on 9-11-2006.

4. Ollie is a male black and white spotted toy fox terrier. He has ADD+++ He is so active all the time and he chews up anything and everthing he can get a hold of. He is fun to play with and watch. Ollie is 11 months old.

This past year we had to bury Patsy(14), Molly(15), and Pugsley(12+)? And our preciousTipper(3) was cruely shot by someone while tresspassing on our property. She was the sweetest little dog around. Plus my 3 parakeets and 1 cockateil accidently died of teflon poisoning on Christmas eve 2005. It was a hard year for our family as my husband is presently serving in Iraq with the National Guard.

#1: Ruffie a 13 year old spayed female Golden Retriever (Mix)
#2: Dino a 3 year old neutered male Jack Russell Terrier (PUREBRED)

Ruffie is the sweet little girl. We got her by someone beating her half to death then dumping her in our back yard. We took her to the vet and spent $900 trying to save her. Then we decided to make her a part of the family. She has spent 11 happy years with us. Last year (2006) she went through cancer surgery that saved her life.I am so happy she lived!!!

Dino is a little spit fire. He will only attack you for leaving the house with out him. He thinks he is the tough $hit until he meets a tougher $hit. His old owner used to use him for hunting and breeding. She was obviously NOT breeding for standard. He has one ear that stands up. We were going to get his son but the "breeder" lost our number. His mate got out and was hit by a car and died. Then he ate the owners barn cat and spent the last 2 weeks of his life with her living in a small horse trailer all by himself. She found our number and we saw him and didn't have the heart to let him go back to a life like that. We got him neutered ASAP. We were looking for one as a play mate for Ruffie. We obiuosly didn't want to creat more puppies that had that defect. Thats why we neuterd him.

I have a golden labrador who's real name is Gypsy which means 'wanderer', which definately suits her as she used to be quite a roamer when she was younger-my kids call her Gippo the Hippo as shes, well....tubby!!
I also have a Springer Spaniel called Keri-not really my choice of name for her but i rescued her and when i did, they had her name as 'CherryPie! She was about 5months old so i didnt want to totally confuse her by changing her name too much, but there was no way i was calling for Gypsy and Cherrypie to go for a walk!!
