in our society, it's easy not to exercise. to start and stay motivated, try exercising the same time of day and be accountable for your actions. don't try making excuses not to exercise, instead, make excuses to exercise. make it a habit and soon you will crave it. get a workout buddy so the both of you can workout together. that way, you won't find an excuse not to commit to a daily routine. try thinking about how many years you will add to your life, how you will feel, and how many diseases you will ward off by exercising every day. to get more exercise without realizing it, park your car at the far end of the parking lot, take a few flights of stairs instead of the elevator/escalator, walk around the mall for a full 30 minutes without stopping, play with your children for 30 minutes, clean the house for a full 30 minutes, walk whenever you can. invest in some hand weights and add weight training to your routine. once you start seeing results and feeling better, you will want to continue. also, eat more fruits, vegies, berries, lean proteins, soy products, whole wheat, high fiber, whole grain carbs, and low fat dairy products. feeling good and healthy on the inside will help you stay focused on the outside. drink more water and green tea and limit your consumption of diet soda to 2 cans a day and stay away from fast food and junk food. i hope this helps. good luck.

Set a time and the place for it. Have a goal---like being able to have a flat tummy, stronger arms, wrists, legs, feet. Getting fresh air. Think of pain-free days. Think of going to bed and dozing off easily. These are the rewards that you get when you exercise. Going to a gym solves all these motivation problems, because when you see everyone else sweating it out, you do get the bandwagon effect, and want to break into a sweat too. Joining the exercise class---aerobics, yoga ---is fun.

First you have to start, then exercise in front of a mirror. This can motivate most people. Remember the little train that said I think I can, I think I can? You can too. So, get up and get started, you will think more of yourself if you hang in there until you look like you want to look. If you stop or give you, it is your own fault. Want more respect for yourself, do it, you will get it.

if you don't get motivated you will die a slow unhealthy life.....NOTHING GOOD comes easy, whether it is wealth, love....and HEALTH. Everything worthwhile is directly proportional to the amount of effort we put in.

It will be tough at first, but exceed your goals every week. For example if you did 10 situps per day, then next week do 11 and so on....in 1 month you will be in greater shape than you are today. Then go with a cardio program, weights, etc.

The GOOD THING is once you get into a routine or habit, you will not be able to break it.

Post a picture of something that always encourages you! Ex: picture of yourself when you looked and felt your best, picture of someone you love who motivates you, etc.

look in the mirror and decide that is what you want to do.
that is the only way, it is all totally up to you, because I can not motivate you in any way.
