How to find a nice guy:
You can meet some very nice guys at a gun show and a woodworking show. Men outnumber women 200 to 1. It would help if you had the patience to view some of these items.
Many older stable single men are looking for relationships with nice women right here on the internet.
Contribute to message boards similar to this. Research topics that fascinate you. Do a Google on your topic along with "chat room" or "message board". Sign on and converse with like-minded people.
There are thousands of people on Yahoo Answer that are open to receiving emails.
I met the man of my dreams on the internet at 49. We've been married 4 years. My husband's 62 year old brother met his 58 year old wife on the internet.
If you go to date sites....narrow down your criteria.
Don't say "ALL", "ALL", "ALL" for the match profile questions. Be a little selective. You will find just what you are looking for!

I am not 48, but I have taken several dance classes (ballroom, swing, salsa) and they are a great place to meet people. In the classes I have taken, it has been quite a mixed age group.

its hit and miss.?? I'm 37 and looking and wonder the same thing. But, looking for a girl.
I tried the bars, nothing but drunks, 1 nighters and wackos
The grocery store didn't pan out
The friend of a friend thing usually doesn't work.
