Start acting like an adult and quit whining! Get a job and move into your own place. My little brother finally moved out of mommy and daddy's house and he's actually making it now and he's only 20. There is hope for you at 24!

Move to a different city. Then you will only be treated like you are 9 when you are there on a holiday. Embrace it! Let someone take care of you for a few days. It helps if you are not there everyday.

Talk to them like an adult. Using a calm voice and telling them how you dislike the way that they treat you can help the ball rolling. If they continue to act the same limit your contact with them. When they ask you why they haven't heard from you, you can tell them that since they are unwilling to treat with respect as an adult, you have nothing further to talk about. Its just a matter of putting your foot down with them.

you should be responsible enough for all your deeds and face all the consequences of your actions. In our country ( Philippines) even when there 25 they can stay on there family because thats how close the family is but there parents dont have to dictate everylittle thing, you can decide on your own and you can ask them if you want but there are some cases that when your on your parents they have in control of you, yes you should respect them but try to find something for your own. its up to you let them understand everything( ur parents).

Move to your own place, visit them maybe once or twice a week, and check in with them so they don't worry. Enjoy!

move out and be independant, visit and call and soon their attitude will chage because they'll see you can make it on your own.
