please pray for me. i'm having a hard time forgiving a guy who's been my friend forever and he broke my heart. thankx

i'm having a hard time forgiving a good friend who broke my heart.
for those who wonder what he did: i moved away, and we've been friends forever. well, we planned to meet on Christmas break, but his mother didnt call back (like she said she would) and he didnt either. so he didnt show up.
i left him a message and told him if he wanted to come he had to call, and he should let me kno if he couldnt. but he didnt, and it hurts.
and it is kind of a bit more than friends. we've danced around the subject for about 2 or 3 years now, but we're both SO STUBBORN!

HI there, very sorry to hear this. I will say a prayer for you about this matter!
Please ignore Nemesis and Yoda Green (and others like them) on here, who both seem to have some problems figuring out what area of the yahoo answers and questions they're on. They're on the religion/spirituality area and don't seem to understand that means "prayer, god, spiritual beliefs".

Trust me, it takes a lot of time. The best thing you can do is begin forming a different life for yourself. New friends, new interests and hopefully some old friends that are supportive to you. Writing a journal doesn't hurt. Just write your heart out over the last few months. You may learn something about yourself in those writing. I have been there, I HURTS!! I feel for you. Please try and take the high road, a better year in 2007 and their are many more fish on the sea!

I am sorry you are going through this terrible time. A broken heart hurts for a time, but with prayer to Jehovah God and the passage of time, you will feel better. Sorry for your hurt. I pray for all who suffer upon the earth.

Offer your sufferings to our Lord Jesus so that He may glorify it through His merits. Remember He was also betrayed and left stranded. Offered in this way your sufferings have the power to heal others of their sins. This is called redemptive suffering. God Bless

I pray for your friend not to face the loss of a rare human being like yourself again , true purity and loyalty of love and friendship are rare as diamonds , and they are in you , so I pray for your friend for his loss , you don't need any prayers , except those you do for yourself , and god only knows which he chooses to answer.
