congratulations!!!
i would check into getting a wedding planner if the whole idea of planning a wedding is to much for you
as for the inside/outside question ... that would depend on the time of year you are getting married
most lovely resorts offer a package deal on weddings if you book with them...check online
many many many wonderful blessings to you and your future husband

Congrats! As for the inside/outside thing, I had an outside wedding at a botanical gardens and it was absolutely beautiful. However, it almost didn't get to happen outside as planned, because we live in Florida and were marrying in the rainy season!! Fortunately we got the ONLY (literally!!) day in August that it did not rain, although it did rain on us in the rehearsal the day before. Anyways, if you are considering an outdoor wedding be sure to take the weather and environmental factors into consideration, and have a back-up you will be happy with if the weather does not cooperate! Best wishes and congrats again!

Congratulations! Some reception venues actually come with free wedding planners to assist you. If you can't find one, it may be best to do this on your own. The most important thing to do FIRST is to google "how to make a wedding budget". My $6000 wedding budget is beyond busted and we still have six months to go and SO much to buy! Constantly add up totals and set aside certain amounts of cash for certain things. Also, google bridal discounts and Bridal Bargains, you'll find so much info on how to save money! Once you've got your budget made, THEN look into reception sites, indoor vs. outdoor, etc. you'll be able to see what you can realistically afford. Good luck!

First of all, congratulations! This is a very exciting time in your life, please remember to enjoy it. It sounds silly now, but 9 months down the road when you're wanting to shoot your fiance, mother, mother-in-law, and maid of honor...remember that this is supposed to be fun.
On a wedding planner, I would recommend one if you are disorganized and have a difficult time keeping track of appointments, deadlines, DETAILS, etc. You'll find wedding planners will do as much or as little as you need them to do. Ask around, if you have friends who have recently gotten married, they will be an excellent resource.
There should also be bridal fairs coming up soon, usually they're held in the spring and fall, attend one and you'll get a glut of ideas--probably more than you're prepared to deal with.
The rest will be entirely up to you. My only advise would be to remember throughout your wedding planning that the purpose of the wedding is for you and your fiance to publicly make your marriage vows in front of friends and family, and the comittment you 2 are making to each other. The rest is fluff, literally. Best of luck to you both!

I would really reccomend an outdoor wedding, specifically oceanside/beachside (or river/lakeside) or a garden wedding.
As for a wedding planner. You should get one if you don't have much time to put into worrying about details for your wedding. Be sure to get one that is open to your ideas. Get references. The wedding planner can make/break your event. WEDDING PLANNERS CAN BE COSTLY. Don't get one if you can't afford it. It's better, in my opinion, to appoint a sibling or parent (or soon to bee parent-in law or sibling-in law) as "wedding planner" (it is better if they are not currently working.

Calm down, take a deep breath. I don't know a wedding planner, but I do know you will live through it. Just remember to have fun. You will remember your wedding day for the rest of your life-enjoy it.

Plan ur own wedding. Because we girls have been planning our wedding since we were little girls. U know how and what u want for ur wedding. So don't waste money on someone else telling u how u should have YOUR wedding. Do it yourself, u gonna pick ur dress ur bride maids dresses, the colors, the hall ( right)So u can plan the rest. the cheapest and the best way,is to do it yourself.there are a lot of books and programs.i would have a small wedding and take the money you save and have a really great time on your honeymoon, the other is just for show.some of the fanciest weddings still end up in divorce.

really? Congrats, me too....I'm gonna keep an eye on this question so that i can get help with mine too. The only thing i really know that i want is some color schemes. I do know that if you want to use roses in your bouquet then look up what the different colors mean before using them. Good luck, Happy New Year, and Many happy memories to come.
