Find a quiet place and relax. For me nature is the most relaxing place I can be, that could be a local park or a campground.
But the key is finding a quiet place for me. Some people need distraction to help get them through a tough time.
But if you really feel you are losing it get some help.
I am Bi-polar which is a very tough form of mental illness.

Easy As!!
You once had the idea (created the thought), conciously, that you were going crazy, or what it would be like to be the EFFECT of going crazy, you then placed this thought out of reach of your mind/memory to where your mind is still creating it unconciously, simply remembering this thought deletes it, and the effect it's having on you. The wrong way is to try and fight it or create ways to get sane, since, hopefully, you were creating the state of sanity to begin with, you counter-created insanity against sanity & now your trying to counter create the insanity by recreating sanity. Just remember creating it and it will disolve. Sorry that the answer is so simple, but life really isn't that hard.

Go to a psychiatrist for medication and a counselor for therapy. There are also support groups you can join, both online and (most likely) in your area.

Depends on what you mean by crazy. Figure out what you triggers are and avoid them. I would highly recommend that you see a doctor
