You need to just tell him that you are not single. When he asks for your number, you can tell him, "I'll give it to you if you don't mind the fact that my husband/boyfriend is going to pick up the phone." Don't lead a guy on. It isn't fair to him and it tells your heart that you really aren't into your mate. Yes, it feels good to get "flirted" with, but if you are in a committed relationship, you owe it to your man to be honest with all the other guys out there.

Okay, this won't hurt a bit. You say "I can't give you my phone number, because I'm not single". If your anticipating being single sometime soon, you could add, "but if you'd like to give me your number I could call you when I am".
But if your just not single and not planning on being single, don't cheat. Be honest with your present mate, either work it out or part ways, don't cheat...everybody loses.

This can be a toughie. I would reccomend saying, "I have a boyfriend, and we are very happy. If you want to call as a friend, I would be more than willing to give you my number!:)"
