Okay my friend (the person I'm always askin questions about) said her friend liked me. Well, I didn't even know what she looked like or anything. I just knew she was short like me. Anyway we went to the movies last friday. I think she looks nice but she's younger than me. She's 11 and I'm 13. I don't really want to date someone younger than me and I don't really like her cause I barely know anything about her. Should I just say I don't like her that much and say I don't wanna go out with her? Or should I stay friends with her and say I wanna see if there's any1 else out there cause I'm still lookin' and I don't wanna jump to conclusions. Her friend keeps sayin stuff like U know u want her but I don't know yet and I dunno wat to do.

Cause one day her friend said that she thought I was hot and she said she just got out of a relationship (her bf moved away) and she wanted to date me.

At a young age such as yours, dating should be kept light and friendly. You don't have to tell her anything, just keep it friendly and remain as an acquaintance. Who you date and why is your business, and at an age of 13 the priorities in your life should be school, hobbies, and stuff like that. You are still going to develop emotionally for a few more years--so when you hit 18, and have all the style and grace of a well rounded individual, casual friends and dates should not be a problem. Just be busy and stop worrying about telling a young lady whatever it is you were concerned about. Good luck and be a nice guy

Well dude you are 13 and she is 11 - Just stay friends and let her down easy like I am really not ready to start dating people right now but I'd like to still talk and be friends. She won't hate you nor will her friends. Be sure to compliment her and tell her you think she is great and you think she is really pretty. It will make you look like the nice guy and get you out of dating someone you don't want to

Tell her that u want to get to kno her better, but for now u want to just b friends. I kno it sounds a little cliche, but thats the best way i see to get to kno her better until u sort out ur feelings. That way if u do end up liking her u guys already have a great friendship as a foundation, and that can mean alot. Dont stress too much about it tho cuz middle school relationships dont normaly last forever anyway. Good Luck!

That is not nice of your friend to push you towards someone so vigorously. None the less, you need to be kind to this younger girl. I think you know what you need to do: be gentle and tell her you want to remain friends but are not ready for a serious, one-on-one relationship at the moment.

well young man,
first you should be honest with yourself.
it sounds to me that you are headed down the rite path.
1. always be honest, no mater( i stress) no mater how bad it may be.
2. then be honest with her, but when your being honest, do it nicely one time, yes i said one time of being nice, becuz if she gets mad at you for being honest. then she really has serious issues.
tell her that your age different is uncomfortable to you.
3. you be the one to tell her. not a friend. (YOU).
that makes you look like the better man.
and i also agree that 11 is way to young to be dating anyway.
your a good kid i can tell that.
ALWAYS KEEP A GOOD HEAD ON YOUR SHOULDERS
GOOD LUCK KIDDO!

Hang out with her and just get to know her really well before you make an decision. Sometimes you'll find that spending time together makes you have feelings that you didnt know you had for the other person!
*Hope this helps!*

You should tell her. As much as it would hurt her, she has got to find out sooner or later, and better sooner than later. Later only means more pain. I was in a similar situation once, and at first I thought I liked her too - but I was mistaken. I told her right away, and it hurt her but oddly I felt no regret. Try it.

It's OK to go out with her once in a while. You are too young to just go out with one person. Just let her know that it is not exclusive, and she should go out with other people too. But if you are not interested in getting to know her, just tell her.
