im in 7th grade, im 13 also. Don't feel bad about it!! I know how you feel, like all my friends have had bf's and everything. IM not ALLOWED to date. I've learned to be happy single and not be pressured by all the coupled off pairs in school.
GUYS WILL COME ALONG. I got asked out for the first time ever this year by a guy i THOUGHT was my friend...but he thought of me a liiittle bit differently.
Just make good friends with guys!! let them see your true personality, i mean, just be friends and then you can meet their friends (who might be interested)

As for the people who call you ugly, ignore them, they have no lifes and even tho their suposedly 'popular' why cant they find something 'cooler' to talk about. Just be crazy and have fun DOT caer what other people think of you and express yourself, and you need to have some good friends behind ya all the way!

like I said dont focus on getting a bf, but makign lots and lots of friends , boys and girls alike!!

please e-mail me! If you have any specific questions!!

Good luck and god bless!

p.s. No worries about high school , im quoting directly form my 18 year old brother " man, middle school is ****ing brutal. But highschool is okay socially, becuase every1 matures and no1 cares about the childish pranks, every1 is too mature to make fun of other people."

( but he said the HARD part about highschool is that some of your friends that you've known for years and have a great deal of power on yuo could start doign drugs and pressure you into it too , you do it cuz you dont wanna lose your good old freind!! The HARD part of it is walking away from your friends and controlling yourself....lol, wow, i learn a lot of thigns from my brutha' love him ^_^)

First of all i know it will be hard for you to believe what i am going to say but in middle school all kinds of kids make fun of each other. I remember when i was in middle school i used to be called some horrible names and i felt so bad, but i am now 25 and realize that is all childish behavior. As for the boyfriend dont rush it. You are still so young and you should be worrying about getting out of school not boys. All your little friends that are boy crazy and have boyfriends will probably start having sex early and become a pregnant on welfare teenager. So dont worry about that girl! Your time will come. Just enjoy your teenage years in middle school and high school. Those years will never come again in your life!

Don't change yourself. You should show people who you are and don't give a damn about people who don't like you. Its the people who will like you for who you are that matter. Sure everything seems bad now but you don't need a boyfriend to be happy and having one wont make you happy. Only you can make yourself happy. School isn't going to matter once you have grown up. Sometimes the most beautiful and intelligent adults have a terrible time at high school. But if you try and change who you are to please people who don't deserve you then you will just end up unhappy and unsure of who you really are. Trust me on this one. You will find someone to love you, when you are old enough, and they will know how beautiful you are. Don't think that high school it IT. There is so much more to life.

I'm also 13 and i don't have a boyfriend. If you think about it, why would you, you should not want someone calling you constently. You should just get a bunch of new friends and hang out with them. I personalywould like to be african-american, I always thought they were really pretty and that no matter what they wear or what they look like, they have always seemed really cool to me. As for the gay part, they enjoy saying that because it gets to you, don't let it and they'll stop.

I totally agree with "Mickey"...I'm 14 and of course...being teenagers...we are going to like other guys...we cant help it...But its what we do about those crushes that make a difference. I know it seems like the totally "in" thing to do: flirt and date...but most likely...youre life and feelings about people are going to be TOTALLY different in a matter of a few months. And the people who think you're ugly, need to get themselves some lives and stop worrying about you and look at their own selves. They also need to focus on the fact that their parents dont send them to school to spread stupid rumors and stab people in the back..I have a small group of people i really trust..and people who arent fake that im friends with and dont worry about all the other girls who only worry about who their dating and what they've supposedly done. And dont even worry because those are probably the exact ones you'll see in a few years at a drive through window, making minimum wage, dating every guy that'll take their sorry butts and totally not happy. Remember, this situation is temporary, you'll make it through. Times get tough but you'll come out stronger, especially if you don't give and do what everyone else is doing. Just be yourself, I know its hard but you'll be glad you did...hope it works out!!!

13!?!?! Sweetie, you have plenty of time for a boyfriend. Focus on getting through school and try not to let the other kids get you down. Trust me, you'll have a boyfriend soon enough in a few years.

Cheer up, you got it right--time is the great equalizer, and your time will come, little sister!
Until then, just take it one day at a time, and try to not let too much get to you. Join an organization at school, or the YMCA or something. or take up a musical instrument, or a sport. Do something YOU enjoy!

Ignore them, I'm 13, I don't have a boyfriend, get over it, get good grades, go to collage, and get a husband. That's what my dad said, it doesn't really matter right now.

Well, I thought I was ugly too. Everybody has a perfect match out there. My boyfriend (now my ex) told me that everybody says I'm beautiful, but I never knew it. Then, we broke up, because "I got annoying".
