Without getting embarrased about it. I thought the Holy Spirit was supposed to elevate people to a ministry. Did they do and exhaustive job search?

You are equating apples with oranges here. Pat Robertson's "ministry" is one of making money. Billy Graham and for that matter Frankling Graham are wonderful preachers and evangelists concerned with only one thing bringing the love of Jesus Christ into the lives of lost people around the world. Can the Holy Spirit not annoint someone from the same family to continue on in the work that the elder has been called to?

Isn't it obvious - these are huge moneymaking enterprises. Who cares if their children are "holy spirit" chosen. Do you think that either Pat Robertson or Billy Graham would give up a multi-million (potentially multi-billion) cash cow to some stranger? They may be faithful, but they weren't born yesterday.

You have a very valid point and it is wrong. It is like they started a company and own it however people are giving to God. There are boards on large churches that oversee these decisions as required by law so I think there is a due process but it sure looks like a sham from a distance.

Think about it- what better job can they get than preaching about God and raking in millions of dollars in donations?
Personally I think it's sickening and blasphemous against the very morals they are supposedly preaching.

It is sufficient to conclude that the sons are inheriting the family businesses. It isn't necessary to attach any other reason.

It is. God's Holy Spirit appoints the older men in the congregation. Anything else is a teaching that does not originate with the Bible, and thus, not with the Christ-IAN (Meaning "Of Christ", or "belonging to Christ", or Follower of teachings of Christ) teaching.

Their kids were RAISED hearing about Christ.

When you KNOW what God can do for you, you want to tell EVERYBODY!
Their sons don't 'inherit' the ministry. They have a 'hunger' to go and tell what Christ can do for you.
