Seems that way. No one ever mentions the white illegals coming from Russia and Eastern Europe. And most posts don't even say bad things about "illegal immigrants" but about "Mexicans taking over."

It has nothing to do with legality. That's their excuse. It has all to do with skin color.

You don't hear about illegal white Russians or Europeans cause we do not share a border with either continent. So for every illegal white in this country there are probably 1,000 illegal Latinos.

Any one who comes illegally no matter where they come from have broken the law. At this particular time the group that has the highest number of offenders are Mexicans. Now that is just for starters. As far as Mexicans taking over it may appear to be. But only for a while. Americans are, as a group very patient. However we do have our limits. So, if the illegals don't change their mode of operation, they will be heading for the border The difference will be that they will be heading south.

No, or not for most people I believe. I think all illegal immigrants should be sent back from wherever they came from, no matter what skin color they are. I think the only reason people bring up "Mexican" so much is because it's the one with so much problems, or atleast where I live (Tx).

Any nationality should have to meet the same criteria to become citizens. To say all white people are against only Mexican immigrants is a gross generalization. Its human nature to fear change. If Russia shared a border with the USA and people were coming in through it citizens and the media would be focusing on them. In any event it seems ALL immigrants want to be here and that's fine if they are willing to take the steps to be citizens.

This is a very valid question, in my opinion. Of course, I believe that illegal immigration is a monumental problem in the United States and it should be effectively dealt with in bipartisan fashion (if this is possible). However, you are correct in that some (not all) individuals take the opportunity to use the illegal immigration issue to voice their racist and prejudiced attitudes toward Hispanic individuals. I do think it is somewhat fair to target Hispanic peoples in the illegal immigration issue because the clear fact remains that the great majority of illegal immigrants are Hispanic, however, you are right to point out that there are many non-Hispanic illegals in the United States as well. Ultimately, the issue of illegal immigration will be dealt with when our elected leaders and representatives stop twiddling their thumbs and shuffling their feet and get on top of enforcing current laws and creating new more effective laws to guard against the rush of illegals. Individuals coming to the United States illegally are criminals plain and simple (Hispanic or otherwise). This action circumvents the current immigration system and makes futile the achievement of those who earned their citizenship legally, through hard work and study.

Look your question is out of proportion,, we are against all illegals coming from any foreign country. The problem with Mexicans is that we have a border with them and they are coming into the USA in waves and waves across our border. If you check the 12+millions of illegals in the USA you are going to find that the majority of the illegals are Mexicans. We don't have nothing against legals, just the illegals.. That is untrue. Many Russians are coming into the United States from Mexico! You need to read more, Cubans also. It is a easy access point to America and Mexico is no problem to enter! So from it's borders we have the entry of many nationalities, don't be so self important! It has nothing to do with being Mexican! Or skin color! It's political! It's financial! That is just silly. Everyone who is intelligent wants illegal immigration stopped because it is counterproductive to a functioning society. Rome fell due to unrestricted nomadic peoples. Racial ethnicity is just a way for people to try and duck the larger issue.

Yes and no. There are real immigration issues, and Mexican nationals are the majority group.

However, no one is really addressing the questions of how we should deal with the reality of the situation. Everything being discussed, from building walls to arrest and deportation, all are stupid ideas that will solve nothing.

Most people concerned about immigration are not racially motivated. Unfortunately however, the nature of the issue gives cover to the ignorant racists and bigots among us who have their own perverted agenda.
