And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 1:7 KJV HOLY BIBLE
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 1st Peter 5:8 KJV HOLY BIBLE
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 KJV HOLY BIBLE

God gives life.
Satan is a lying, murdering, thief who wants to destroy us.
God intervening during the Holocaust of the Second World War is the only reason for the end of that tragedy.
Justice will come.
Mercy is a better thing.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 KJV HOLY BIBLE
For the wages of sin is death; Romans 6:23a KJV HOLY BIBLE
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2nd Peter 3:9 KJV HOLY BIBLE

How do you suppose things would be if judgment came instantly upon any sin?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16-18 KJV HOLY BIBLE

It's a convenient slogan trotted out by feminist clones who can't seem to come up with any original arguments. It may be appropriate to boil the issue down to "my body my choice" if a woman is considering a piercing or tattoo. When the woman is pregnant, it is no longer appropriate. The issue is not whether we should regulate a woman's right to choose. We can and already do. For example, even the most ardent abortion rights advocate typically agrees that abortions should only occur in the third trimester if the woman's health is at risk. Why? Because it's not just the woman's body. It's the unborn child's body too. Slogans aside, the only real issue is when and how much we should regulate women's right to terminate the pregnancy.

Abandoned? Interesting! So God gives mankind a choice, to do good or evil. How dare he give us a choice knowing some would do evil and cause many to suffer! If there was no evil there would be no choice, hence no freedom. So some have the freedom to commit war and murder, it is part of the choice God gave us. It is how we will all be judged. So, do you blame God for giving us a choice and then blame God for the evil choices some make? Wow, that's bold. So then, Hitler goes blameless by this standard and we nail God to a cross for what we have done wrong. Oh, wait; that already happened.

So, then, by this line of reasoning, if someone did you wrong, you would blame God instead of the person who did you wrong. Would you then let a murderer free? Would you let someone steal all your stuff and do nothing but blame God? And just let the thief go free? Wow, God becomes the thief and you just pat the real thief on the head and say, "It's all God's fault, you can keep my stuff". Wow, what a wonderful forgiving person you must be. And if someone broke in and killed your family, would you also be able to forgive that murderer?
Ok, I get it now. Thanks.

Ah yes, one more person tripping on the "How can a loving God permit ______________ (choose one or more evils to fill in the blank.)
If I may clarify:
God is good. Man is corrupt. Start there.
God is so good that He wants to love humans. However, that requires that the humans ACCEPT His love. Love is always and only a matter of choice--what we call free will. Thus, God gives man the ability to choose what to do.
Now, very carefully here, if God cancels man's wrong choices, then man doesn't have freedom to choose, does he? If a human wants to do evil, and God prevents it, then God can't honestly credit a human for doing good, can He?
God is good. God loves you. But in order for you to get around to accepting His love (and even returning it), He must permit you to ignore Him, disobey Him, even hate Him. You have a few decades for God to tell you how much He loves you, and that's plenty of time.
God is so powerful that He can get His message to each human, even when there's 6 billion + on the planet. Most reject His message, but some everywhere accept it, which makes this stinkin' earth worthwhile for now.
The punchline to all this is that God will (fairly soon, I think) take over and actively prevent the evil choices, exactly as you now say you want Him to. He does this for 1,000 years. After 1,000 years, given the opportunity, the majority of humans who lived in utter peace and security choose to rebel against his perfect rule of peace, security, plenty, happiness, and no evil. Wow. How messed up is that?

We can not possibly know how God thinks, if we knew all the answers we would be God. God made a covenant with Abraham and He is still keeping it. How long have you kept a promise? Someday we will understand all the suffering in the world but for now we do not. These are questions we all ponder at times and leave it in Gods hands.

God did not abandon His people. Evil is in the world, and one day all things will be made right. Yes, it is horrible what happened to the Jews, it should never have happened, but do not think that God will be silent forever. Choice again- not God's fault.

Yes- They were hardly abandoned when allied forces saved them from extermination. God does not blanket you with protection from all things. You would never learn anything. I would say millions of people were brought closer to God through the Holocaust, even to this day. Also, it makes people aware of what "people" are capable of when singling out a certain group to blame for their troubles. Many, many lessons to learn here.

God is good...and the Bible says that God will never leave or forsake his children. Jesus was persecuted, if God let him suffer then who are we? Christians go thru tough times but God is still with us, he gives peace of mind and he comforts. whether its slavery, holocaust, wars etc. If you believe in Jesus then you know your suffering is not in vain and there is a reward waiting for you, if not on Earth then in Heaven.

God didn't abandon those people. Hitler was an evil man who was led by Satan to murder all those people. Lot's of people loved Hitler, then stood by for too long and allowed him to do the horrible things that he did. God chose Moses to lead the Jews out of Egypt. How many of them died in the forty years it took to get to the promised land. (read the bible and find out why it took so long) Then what was the first thing the did when they got there? Hired a king! People have a natural God given desire to serve a King. God wants us to be able to choose. He allows us to choose wrongly, so that when we arrive at him, it was our own chice. Would you want to marry a girl, who you forced to marry you, knowing she would marry someone else if she could?
