The marine corps. They get poor funding, but they never have any trouble filling their required numbers like the other services, because they possess a certain ambiance, esprit de corps, and deep military tradition. Every marine is trained to be the best and to be elite. The other services have elite members, but the majority are not trained to level of every marine. The marines are modern day Spartans. If nothing else, when walking down the street, if someone asks you if you are in the military, could you imagine a greater sense of pride than replying that you are a US Marine as opposed to being in the Army, Navy, or Air force. All the branches are great and respectable, but nobody commands respect like a MARINE

You're going to get different opinions on each type of service. The real question is whether you can hack it for extended deployments overseas up to one year away from family on a short notice or whether you want to be homebased in the same area the majority of your time served. Suggest that you talk to a recruiter. Regardless of which branch you serve, the benefits are the same. Good Luck

There is not one branch or section of the military that is any better than the rest. They each have their up and down sides and all claim that they are the next best thing.
So in answer to your question I can not give any real advise except,
"to each his own".
I would personally say Marines...but I must admit I'm biased.

Marine, but thats just my opinion. They have some of the roughest training in the branches but they are taught to be the best and prepared for anything. Makes quite the experience.

Much much better for families, deployments are less (unless they're security forces), since there's less people there's a better chance of getting base housing, bases are much better quality.
As a matter of fact if we were to get stationed at an Army base we'd get paid money just for being there cause their standard of living is so much lower than the USAFs.

I served in the Army and Navy and they have basically the same benefits and training but one is ground combat and one is sea so a person needs to choose their calling. I found the Navy had a more technological backing.
