my friend likes me and she thinks im cute but the only problem is that she doesnt want date me (i like her back) why do you think she doesnt want to date me?

Well, being cute is not the same as being handsome. I mean the girl would express in some different way. Friends are cute, Boyfriends are handsome. I think, at the moment, she is a great friend of yours, consider that if she is able to tell you that you are cute.
Provide some time, provide some space, ask her out to a friendly place, where there will be more people and she doesn't feel trapped.
But never push that friendship.

i'd say it's one of two things - either theres some reason that she doesnt like you that way not anything inparticular but you know how some people you really like just not like that, or she's thinking she doesnt want to ruin the friendship or loose you if something goes wrong dating wise and thats only because she hasnt learned how awsome it is to have someone thats a best friend and a lover and that it is possible to go back to friends if your mature enough and something hasnt happened well how do I put it sometimes in the end something happens that you no longer care for them as a friend or boyfriend the two kinda go hand in hand you know something even a friend wouldnt do to you, anyways I just think if she wanted to she probly would of jumped on the idea if you did indeed inform her that you like her to I know when I was a teenager when someone like you it was so exciting , good Luck KIM

Her parents might not let her.... umm... she might not feel like you're the guy that would fit her even if you're cute... sometimes that happens with me...
But maybe she doesnt want to get involved with you or has heard some things about you... I'm not sure.. you can never really know what goes on inside that girls mind...
Unless she speaks her mind haha.... sometimes we dont' want to hear whats on her mind though lol...

Difficult one if you have entered the catergry of a "friend". If you do like her then you should step back. Let her see that you're cool and handsome guy that other girls like.
The next move is to be honest with her and let her know how you feel. Hopefully she feels the same and you could give it a chance.

Your friend may like you, but may value your friendship to the point of which she does not want to risk losing it if you two were to date and then not work out.

Because you are just friends and it is hard for her to see you as anything else other than as a friend. Don't expect this to change and don't risk loosing a good friend because you want something you may never be able to have.

Happend to me too, there is nothing you can do , execpt be paitent, i mean as long as she likes you, you still have a chance. Just dont rush her or force her, KEEP IT COOL. Just relax. I messed up , beacuse i was thinking why she doesnt want to go out, dont be like me. GOOD LUCK :)

maybe she vaule's the friendship. sometimes when friends date an it doesn't work out then not only do you lose a girl but you also lose a friend.
