How do I make my situation with a girl better if she wants to be friends and see if anything sparks up for us. We use to be together for a year. I cant move on because I love her. I dont want to find another girl because I know we can make things work if she would only give it another chance. I told her I cant be friends with her and that even tho she isnt my gf, shes still my girl. When we see each other, we still are physically intimate with each other. The problem is she has not made me a priority anymore. She rather go to work on new years eve then spend it with me. Whats a guy to do. She doesnt like the idea that Im just waiting for her to come back to me but even if I wasnt waiting for her it would seem that way because Im not trying to fall in love with anyone anyways.
She says she feels guilty about me doing nothing on new years. Please dont tell me to move on becuz thats not what I want to hear. Instead, give me insight on how I can make things spark between us again

hey bro, I feel what you're saying. Me and my girl went through this type of situation last Christmas. It sure as hell puts a man to the slumps, and the worst thing is, it's not exactly like she doesn't want you, its that she is more or less apathetic, and sometimes, feeling empty is worse than feeling hurt. I sure as hell with I could find a solid solution, but truth is, there is none. You just have to ride it out and hope for the best. If you really love her, take it as a sacrifice for her. I know in writing that sounds easy, but in action it's not; i know, i had to go through the same. But me and my girl are fine now, and i hope that this period of time between you two will resolve asap. Just take the hits bro, and if you can't go on anymore don't force yourself. But if you love her as much as I love my girl, the wait will be worth it.

Well since ur not looking for another gurl then just have fun for rite now im not sayin go be a man whore but u guys are single and when shes ready to get back with u then she'll come around dont worry about makin things spark between u guys u can do a whole lot to try and get her back but it may not work just be patient she'll realize that she had someone good in her life...hope this helps and good luck

There are negative and postive things going on between two of you guys. But from my point of view it seems as though you are holding on but she does not really care for you as much as you do about her because she puts her work before spending quality time with you. Considering that you have so much faith in the relationship, romance her and see if the sparks are coming back if not move on.

Stop being available, be busy even if your not, sometimes people take advantage of you and walk all over when your too available, I know it is a game but sometimes that is what it comes down to. Try it and see how she reacts, if she doesn't then it is time to move on, why would you want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you. There will be some better for you out there.

Well I hate to be the one to tell you, but moving on may be an option. If she doesn't make you a priority now, what makes you think that she will if you were in a committed relationship?
But if you wanna give it a try, call her more often..women love attention, but don't smother her. Flowers, candy, cards..surprise her..We love things like that.. Try telling her exactly how you feel and where you want things to go.
If she doesn't respond in a way that you'd like or tells you to your face that she isnt interested, then move on.
It doesn't get any simpler than that.

well maybe you shouldnt make ur self so needy all the time, i mean come on you dont have to move on but maybe you could date someone else just for awhile, and see how this girl that wont go back out with you feels, plain and simple.....hard to get, she might want you back after she realizes that you have moved on...kinda. and if it doesnt work you might meet another girl that you like just as much. hey, it sounds like your running ut of options so its worth a try.

its a good thing that u can wait because if she changes her mind u are there and that should show her how much u want to be with her and only her. but if she doesnt want to get back with u. but if u really love her and care for her then if she finds another guy it should make u happy that she is happy and u should let her know that. even thou u will be disappointed u should be happy for her.

Even though you don't want to hear it, you have to move on. It's not what someone says, but the actions that they take that show their true feelings. It sounds like she is keeping you on a string for when SHE needs you. Don't you deserve greater respect than that?
