LEMON JUICE SUCKS!!!(alone) place lemon juice and a small amount of Proxide in your conditioner. You may find that in order for the citrus and chemical particles to lighten your hair you might want to leave it in for a while, while you sit outside. But make sure not to leave it in your hair for too long because it may cause your hair to dry out. After rince it out thoroughly. This process may take two to three days to begin seeing a diffrence.

A product called "sun in" can make your brown hair lighter. Just as if the sun bleached your hair. Just spray it on your wet hair. It needs heat to activate it so either use a blow dryer or sit in the sun.

You need to use some type of permanent dye that is lighter than your own hair color. It will have peroxide in it.

Summer usually lightens you hair alone but I recommend light highlights. It looks as if your hair is lighter. I have blonde highlights and they work great!

Sun-in; available in ANY CVS, Walgreens, etc. It uses lemon essence to lighten any shade of hair. The only thing is that if you have darker hair it may make it orange-y!

Plus, its cheaper than dye- only 3.50 a bottle.

if you want to do it the natural (and slow way) you can rinse it in vinegar- white if you have light or blond hair, and the apple cider vinegar if you have a darker shade of hair.
