Needs them for an Eye Infection. He's 3 years old

Hates them, won't let me near his eyes.

Kicks, screams and squirms loads. Last time because he was moving, i poked him in the eye, by mistake.

How can we get them in ? He won't stay still

you should hold him in between her legs with his arms and legs in your legs so he cannot move. you have the other person put in the eye drops and your hands are free and you can hold his head and eye's open or the other person can do that as well.

then give him a treat or reward of some sort after wards. soon he will just take them because he will relaize fighting is useless and their is a prize.

this may work if you are single and must do this by yourself. my sister had a husband to help her. they did not have to restrain him after the first couple of times they gave him drops. one of them would just hold his head to make sure he did not move it.

Is it because he dosen't like you putting them in his eyes or because they burn? Try putting them in the corners of his eyes near the nose. Put a drop there then have him open his eyes. They should go in when he opens them.

Wait until he falls asleep; yes for real, he will be still and may only wake momentarilly from coldness. Also; put the drops in the fridge. Cold drops sting less.

Put them in while he is sleeping. If you need them during the day then put them in when he is taking a nap
