Sorry if my above comment seems a little harsh, but I'm getting sick of the Christians who use everything as an opportunity to stuff their religious beliefs down our gullets.

Lexi - Are atheists allowed to believe in an afterlife? (I never really considered myself one either.)

Buddhism holds that there is a form of afterlife without a god. I personally call it the spirit realm.

(There could be lots of names for this.)

Yes - of course - it can be anything. A Christian who follows Process Theology (see Wikipedia) believes in an afterlife, but does not believe in an omnipotent God. You could also call one a Buddhist, because Buddhists believe in an afterlife with no omnipotent being. Afterlife is not dependent on the existence of an omnipotent God.

There are many versions of this, technically called Metempsychosis. One of the oldest versions is the Pythagorean's belief in transmigration of the soul, also advocated by Plato.

God says in His Word that if we are only lukewarm,
He will spew us out of His mouth. Hmmm.....do you
see the meaning here? The name is "unbeliever".
