First of all, do not deal with anyone who is giving out a random phone number like the answer above. Make sure that you deal with nationally recogized lenders and banks only.
You do not NEED a co-signer, but most student loan companies require atleast a two year work history and your credit would have to be pretty good if you don't have a co-signer. If you meet those criteria, try http://www.thinkfinancial.com
or just do a little research online to find other companies.
Good Luck.

You can apply for a loan anywhere. It is the loan institution that will decide if they need a co sighner or not and that depends on your past credit history or lack of a credit history , your debt to income ratio your income and your assets. If they feel you are a high risk they will want a guarantee and that means someone willing to pay if you don't or cant.
