Right now as it stands California has to build one school per day to keep up with the population there.

Is this going to have to happen in every state before people think there is a problem?

You are right and I wonder the same thing about the rest of Americans that just think that those illegal immigration problems are not of their concern. It is incredible that when we read in the newspapers and see the news on TV, some Americans think that the problem is not in the USA, our country. What's wrong with this Americans, what are they think of,, or are waiting for. This coming year 2007 the Democratic/liberal along with George Bush and the Congressman from Arizona John McCain are planning to give 12+millions of illegal aliens AMNESTY and don't care about what the majority of Americans think or need. All they are thinking about is about the big corporations and the illegals in this country. They don't care about the after effect that this AMNESTY is going to have on the American citizens... AND then this Congressman from Arizona, John McCain have the audacious of telling us that he plans to run for president of the United States. Do you think that this Congressman should be running for president of the USA...I don't think so!!! and I hope that we let him know that we the Americans will not tolerate his actions. Good luck!!

I know that I have heard that some cities and even a couple of the states already are very similar to Mexico, but I believe the citizens of the USA are waking up to this problem now and maybe it isn't too late. I think we have to keep the illegal immigration to the fore and in the news spotlight as much as possible right up to the presidential election, in order to make sure that the government knows that the citizens of this country have had enough and are about ready to take things into their own hands if the government does not take care of this problem.

The Mexican government needs to realize there's a problem, and solve the problems of their own country. It's sad to think Mexicans have to struggle like they do. But it's not the fault of the U.S.

i don't know what it will take for the US to "wake up and smell the coffee" as the saying goes. Quit letting every "Tom, Dick & Harry "in the country. let their own Governorment take care of their own,, United States wake up! we have proverty, hunger, homelessness, poor health etc right here in our own country that you need to help first before you give Charity to other countries.. as i was always taught "Charity begins at home" so look out your back door and you will see it! Our own Governorment is going to bring us down..

Those people who don't realize that there IS a problem now, never will....and if by chance when and IF they do happen to realize it, it will be way, way, way too late to even begin to think of changing anything.

Looks like it. US seems to think that its land and natural resources are unlimited and can support infinite people. China thought so too. Thats why they had to implement on-child per family rule very strictly. India thought so too. (But even then they are not doing much about it !)

Is building school a problem?

I think the real problem is if legal taxpayers have to pay for illegal immigrants...
