My parents really piss me off to the highest level. I am 21 years old and I hardly do anything and they still are not satisfied. I told them i was going to a friends house for new years and my dad is going to say that no I can't go! What the hell is that? I am away at school most of the year so how the hell can you tell me I can't go somewhere when you don't know where I am most of the time? I already have social issues and they have helped contribute to that. I have already talked to them about this and they still keep acting dumb! What the hell do i need to do to deal with this craziness?

Go where you want to regardless of what they say. You young people need to grow the hell up and quit playing crap with your parents. If they don't like it, too bad.

I think you just need to deal, especially if you've already talked to them about it. My parents are the same way. I'm 19, out of the house, working full time, and going to school full time, and my parents don't want me doing anything! However, my 16 year old sister gets to do whatever she wants. So I think in my situation, I should just feel special and more cared for! haha

HOLY COW there is another one of us out there. I had the same problem. Since you are away at school you are on your own, that's hard to come home and you don't have the freedom anymore. Did you ask him why couldn't go? Here is what I learned: Parents are parents, they will always treat you like a kid. I would say...be thankful you get to go back to school soon. Sorry I couldn't be much more help.

I know where you are coming from! I'm married with two kids and my mom still thinks she can tell me what to do, when to do it and where to do it. I've learned to ignore it and go on with my life. When you graduate get a job and a place of your own. They may never stop but it will be your home and I say if they aren't paying your bills they can't tell you what to do.

My mother is the exact same way.Your an adult don't let them push you around. Get a job an apartment and move out. show them that you are old enough and mature enough to know what is best for yourself.

YOU'LL BE OUT OF SCHOOL SOON AND THEN YOU CAN GET OUT ON YOUR OWN. FOR THE TIME JUST TRY TO GRIN AND BEAR IT AS THEY SAY. WISHING YOU THE BEST WITH THE NEW YEAR.

Don't lose your temper. Don't ask why or whine about it to them. If your parents see you handling their decisions maturely, they may give you some more leeway. Refine your language, perhaps.... Certainly, honor your father and mother.

Why do you keep returning to their house? If they treat you so badly, don't go there. Simple.
