Do Christians even believe in global warming? If so, are they worried about it? I mean, don't you believe that Jesus is going to come back before global warming kills us all? In that case, do you believe that Jesus is coming back soon? Does the bible reference global warming at all? If so, where, and what does it say/mean?

I am "only talking about Christians" because I am curious as to what they personally think about global warming. Of course other people matter.

What are you calling Global Warming? Many (Christian and Heathen alike) believe that the warming of the earth is a natural occurence that has been happening since the last Ice Age. You post as if YOU have empirical information about the TRUE Global Warming.

Global warming is a big subject nowdays. Christians are like everyone else, they like to keep up with the news . We are not worried about Global warming. Global warming might be the way God will let us know , He is very un-happy with this sinful world and habitants. He destroyed the sinful people by a flood and we don't know how He will come again. Christians will endure all things. Only God knows that answer. In the Old Farmers Almanac, you can do a search and find out that many Winters were mild. Off and on again, the climate would be very changeable. Could be that the Earth is just going into a Billion year cycle. Who knows, but God.

First, christians shouldn't be worried about anything b/c we know that God is in control he has a plan and no matter what happens if you believe in Jesus we have a hope of eternal life in heaven.
But if you think about it and you believe in hell, the center of the earth is the hottest, its getting hotter and that heat is radiating causing the glaciers to melt etc., my moms theory is that God is getting hell ready for those who do not believe or who have not accepted Jesus as their savior. I could be wrong, I don't think so but for some reason I remember hearing or reading that God was going to destroy the earth and then there would be a new earth and heaven, if that's true then Jesus will have come back before global warming kill us all.

If you look at the real stats global warming is so slow in fifty yrs there will hardly be a difference. What to be concerned about is HAARP in Alaska were climate control is being implemented. To the person that unknowingly said Xtians are out to curtail rights they'd better wipe away the veil from their vision and look at the 'New World Order Hard Truth/America Wake-up' for a New Years look into the not so distant future. For anyone quick to say consp. nut goto this site and you'll figure it all out. There are far too many different sources to dispel them all.

As a Christian I have not been overly concerned with global warming. I've read The Book and I know what's going to happen. I am sure through the ages of time people thought the end was near but no one knows that for sure except the Father. I do feel that mankind needs to be a better steward of what was entrusted to us. After all, unto whom much is given much is required.

Why would Christians NOT believe in Global Warming? It's not like something you choose to believe in, since it blatantly exists.
I would say that, in general, Christians are not hugely concerned about Global Warming, but still make efforts to not contribute to it. I personally think that the Rapture will occur before Global Warming wipes us out...but Global Warming won't make the interim time period any more pleasant and I like snow, so I'd like for Global Warming to not get any worse.
And I can't think, offhand, of any Biblical reference to Global Warming.

As a christian, I am unconcerned. However, the major source of global warming can be halted: make a concerted effort to plug all the volcanos like Pinatuba, etc.and you'll have made an excellent start. May I come watch?

global warming is a natural phenomenon,no one can agree on the effects, not just christians.it wont kill us any time soon,so look forward to the coming of jesus the rabbi, first.
the bible does not specifically mention global warming ,but it does include various of natures natural catastrophies coming,so the warming could have an indirect connection to the bible.
