I have a treatment that has resulted in me getting the best answer four times. Each time, the user said it worked great! I'll copy and post it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Don't waste your time with proactive, it doesn't work very well & if he has a purple face then its' time to go straight to a Dermatologist

& for the people asking why you're going out with him tell them "he isn't an a**hole. unlike you"
ha, sorry probably not a good idea, i'm just sensitive about this kinda stuff lol

Dang, I feel really sheltered now. In the area I live, no one cares about acne...I don't know...I've never really had a b/f with that bad of a problem. Just tell him that the only people who don't make fun of him for it are the people that look past it and see the beautiful person on the inside. That's why you're going out with him, right? ;)

its probably his genetics.. i got my bf proactive and it didint work for him. he used it for 3 months everyday adn followed the instructions and everythign and nothign happned. same with a few of his cousins. it doesnt work. the celebs are only paid to say all that.

we went tot he dermatologist cause proactive wasnt working for him. i asked the dermatologist if it worked at all and he said for most peopel it doesnt. if its in his genetics he will need to go to a dermatologist and get put on accutane or some other pil to help control it.

good luck

but if he is happy with the way he is and doesnt care what he looks liek then let him be. dont be embarassed while you are with him jst cause he has a skin problem...

best thing to do is see a dermatologist. next best is this recipe that a friend gave me. but it has to be done every single night without fail! get the white of an egg beat it a little to make it a little foamy and spread on the face. wait until it dries. rinse with warm water then get some aloe vera gel (natural is best) and spread on face. leave it til morning. rinse with warm water. should go away. my friend said that he had bad acne. i could see not acne scars on his face. his mom got the recipe from a skin specialist (cosmotologist)

Ok so why are you worrying about what people say that is so elementary to me; another thing if that your boyfriend you should defend him and tell them to get the F out of your face but sounds like you entertain them

pro activ does NOT work. I had sever acne and a bunch of acne meds worked. Pro-active is just a fake...it didnt work for any of my friends who even have a little bit of acne. Plus their product smells bad and is way too expensive

He needs to go see a dermatologist asap! They can prescribe medication to clear it up. The sooner the better to prevent scarring.
